Thickly Atmospheric Open Water Baptism Scene with Curious Third Man in the Brush, 1920s Snapshot company H but definitely JapanesePerhaps my favorite of the week, this is a 1920s snapshot of a baptism clearly taken from quite a distance, such that the ceremony in process seems as if happened upon by the taker of the photo a voyeur on a very private moment, which makes us feel that way too. And captured in the image is a third figure at far right, back turned and partially bent over, lending an added charge have we caught him in a vulnerable moment private act, too? This is a
